April 30 2011, by Simon Krenger

In my traffic logs, I still notice a high interest in my post for the Java Service Wrapper. So I hereby provide a more current version of the Tanuki Java Service Wrapper for Windows x64 (Community Edition).

Also, please note:

Use this package at your own risk, I provide no support or guarantee that this software works as advertised.

This software is provided “AS IS” and any expressed or implied warranties, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed.

The following package includes all the sources and necessary components to run the Java Service Wrapper. To run the Service Wrapper, extract the following three files from the archive:

  • bin/wrapper.exe
  • lib/wrapper.dll
  • lib/wrapper.jar

Download: wrapper-windows-x86-64-3.5.7.zip
Newer versions: Newer versions of the wrapper are available here.

The only thing I ask in return is a comment if this actually helped you :)

MarcosF (November 8, 2011):

Hello thanks alot for this post but, this version is loggin that “Can`t load AMD 64.dll on IA 32-bit platform”.

Do you have the same compilation for intel?

Thank you

Simon Krenger (November 8, 2011):

As the title suggests, this wrapper is for a 64-bit Windows. You can download the wrapper for 32-bit Windows on Tanuki Softwares website ( http://wrapper.tanukisoftware.com/doc/english/download.jsp ) for free (just select the community edition for x86).

Peter D (January 24, 2012):

Thanks. I have no idea why I need it, but it does the job.

Aleksey (February 13, 2012):

someone (December 16, 2012):

extract the files…to where?

Simon Krenger (December 16, 2012):

Extract the files to your own application. Or whatever you want to do with the files :). See Tanuki’s Customer page to see some applications of the wrapper.
